Army Reserve Picnic
It has been our extreme honor to play for our fighting men and women on several occasions. In late August of 2005, we performed for some great folks who were leaving the next morning for Afghanistan for a long tour of duty. As you can imagine it was a very emotional afternoon. Because of scheduling and travel issues we couldn't get the whole band to Cincinnati for the show but Roger's long time friend, Pat Johnson, joined Emma and Pete to play for these great troops. It was a reunion for Roger and Pat who have played together off and on for over 20 years. Pat's own sons are serving in our military. One currently working the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and the other has recently returned from a tour in Iraq. It was our honor and privilege to perform for them.
