Roger also plays in a christian band which leads worship at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati. The band, led by Eric Hauck, hit the road this summer for an eight day, eight city, eight concert, four state, 1850 mile tour. It was an amazing and inspiring adventure with a wonderful group of musicians. The tour which began in Cincinnati, went to Richmond, Indiana, Carol Stream and Elgin, Illinois, West Lafayette and Warsaw, Indiana, Wilmington, Ohio, Huntington, West Virginia and Painesville, Ohio. When we led the worship in Warsaw, Mark, Cathy and Madison drove down from Niles and witnessed one of the most emotional performances of our tour. It was certainly one of my highlights. The cool photos are courtesy of Kevin Nicht, our drummer and historian.

The next two photos were from the stage at the Elgin Community College Performing Arts Center near Chicago. The first is our view of the world and the second is early morning soundcheck. This venue was phenomenal. It was certainly the best sound system that I have ever played through. We led an awesome worship service for a bunch of great folks.

The cross on the left was taken through the doors of the First Methodist Church in West Virginia. The doors led to an enclosed rock and wrought iron area in which I inadvertently locked myself. After about 15 minutes some unknown person rescued me. Joe designed the cross on the right which duct tape at the beginning of our tour. It became an inspirational symbol for us the whole way. We borrowed the equipment trailer from a local boy scout troop and it had never been driven over an hour. We packed the bearings, repaired the coupler and lights and hauled it 1850 miles. I think it is safe to say that God was watching over our trailer. And Joe who probably sacrificed the transmission on his van.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the photos from this extraordinary time in my life. We certainly hope our special blend of rock and roll and Jesus provided some inspired worship experiences for all the cool folks we met. Thanks to TMW for letting them borrow me.
